ON A MISSION TO UNDERSTAND OBAMA, I'VE BECOME A MCCAIN SUPPORTER

I've heard a lot about Barack Obama, both negative and highly positive, so I thought I’d do some background research and see for myself. I was turned off by the “Obama is a creep” stuff, but I also wasn’t sure about the hoopla surrounding him. I realized I’d have to dig into some of the unseemly corners of the internet to ferret out and cross check thoroughly, but I waded in.

So who is Obama? Hard to figure out from media sound bites and internet blogging sites. I needed to start at the beginning.

I started with his pastor, Rev. Wright. I’d seen some videos of Wright’s sermons but after seeing these clips below, realized he goes a lot further than I thought. Really, if you'd like to have a solid foundation for understanding Obama, start here:

According to Wright in this video, the government released the HIV virus to “control the colored population.”

Then I discovered that Rev. Wright has been the minister to Obama for more than 20 years. That he married Obama and his wife, Michelle, and baptized their two daughters. I was quite surprised to find that Rev. Wright was actually on Obama’s campaign spiritual advisory committee until videos of his sermons were released on the internet. At that time, Obama then said, “I think there was recognition that he’s obviously on the verge of retirement, [that] he’s taking a sabbatical and that it was important for him to step out of the spotlight in this situation,” MSNBC interview.

Now mind you, I don’t think race is at issue – as it shouldn’t be an issue for our President for sure. But Obama is clearly identifying with Malcom X when he wrote that he had a lot of dislike for his own white blood. He’s not racist, I don’t believe, but to some extent young Obama embraced that kind of thinking. He’s put that in his past, right? Hmm. He did, though, choose Rev. Wright’s church.

Well, let’s move on. Michelle Obama sat under Rev. Wright’s rhetoric for many years, so it’s understandable she would have these feelings:

Maybe I’m off on this one, but seems like someone running for the Presidency should have in his bones the basic protocol for the national anthem and the number of our states. For me it points out that he isn’t seasoned in this arena. Kind of like an aspiring school principal who just doesn’t know good grammar.

Now another interesting divergence that beckoned me...Barack Obama would not be the first black American President. He would be the sixth. I certainly didn’t read about this in thrid grade American History, but the book Black People and Their Place in World History by Dr. Leroy Vaughn researched it.

Here’s a synopsis of the website. . .

Joel A. Rogers and Dr. Bakhufu have both written books documenting that at least five former presidents of the United States had Black people among their ancestors.

Our 3rd President, Thomas Jefferson was our first part black President. And he's not alone, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge were also part black.

President Andrew Jackson was the son of an Irish woman who married a black man. Andrew Jackson was such a high percentage black that his oldest brother was sold as a slave.

President Abraham Lincoln was the illegitimate son of an African man, he had very dark skin and coarse hair and his mother also allegedly came from an Ethiopian tribe. His heritage fueled so much controversy that Lincoln was nicknamed "Abraham Africanus the First" by his opponents.

President Warren Harding never denied claims that he was black, because he had black ancestors between both sets of parents and he attended Iberia College, a school founded to educate fugitive slaves.

President Calvin Coolidge was proud of his heritage and claimed his mother was dark because of mixed Indian ancestry. Coolidge's mother's maiden name was "Moor" and in Europe the name "Moor" was given to all blacks just as "Negro" was used in America.

Of course this doesn’t really matter except – well, it is a huge part of the appeal of his candidacy. See this video clip:

But here’s something really interesting. I discovered he’s not actually African American after all. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President. His father was ethnically Arabic, with only one African Negro (an ethnic designation – not a slur!) relative, which was a great-grandparent.

Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side, 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. His father would have been the last of his line to be able to legally claim African American ethnic classification (our law requires 12.5%).

Yet African-American is the ethnicity he presents. Without it, he’s just another mixed race Caucasian Arab who happens to have a slight African influence which shows up in skin tone.

His father's decision to give him an Arabic name was to establish ethnic identity in Africa as separate from the African tribes. We may live among them, but are not one of them kind of thinking. Barack’s father's name and the names of all his father’s ancestors are Arabic (his mother is Caucasian).

Through his father, Barack is descended from Arab slave traders who operated under an extended grant from Queen Victoria. It gave them the right to continue the slave trade in exchange for helping the British defeat the Madhi Army. So while America's black community ancestors were breaking the shackles of slavery, Mr. Obama's ancestors were placing those shackles upon their wrists. Goodness.

No one can choose their ancestry, and I don’t care about the moralities of anyone’s ancestors back then because it doesn’t matter now. But it’s not got the same “play” – it hasn’t the same emotional appeal as does the rise of a black man to the Presidency candidacy.

In his book, Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama says that he organized his life on the ideals given to him by his Kenyan father. "All of my life, I carried a single image of my father, one that I .. tried to take as my own." It was "the father of my dreams, the man in my mother's stories, full of high-blown ideals .."

Obama tells us that, "It was into my father's image .. that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself." And also that, "I did feel that there was something to prove .. to my father" in his efforts at political organizing.

The East African Journal published Obama Sr.’s positions about Kenya as he wrote them while he was at Harvard:

1. Obama Sr. advocated the communal ownership of land and the forced confiscation of privately controlled land, as part of a forced "development plan,” an important element of his attack on the government's advocacy of private ownership, land titles, and property registration.

2. Obama Sr. advocated the nationalization of "European" and "Asian" owned enterprises

3. Obama Sr. advocated dramatically increasing taxation on "the rich" even up to the 100% level, arguing that, "there is no limit to taxation if the benefits derived from public services by society measure up to the cost in taxation which they have to pay"

4. Obama Sr. contrasts the ill-defined and weak-tea notion of "African Socialism" negatively with the well-defined ideology of "scientific socialism", i.e. communism.

5. Obama Sr. advocates an "active" rather than a "passive" program to achieve a classless society through the removal of economic disparities between black Africans and Asian and Europeans resources. “So long as we maintain free enterprise one cannot deny that some will accumulate more than others .. "

After reading Barack’s lauding of his father, I presumed he must be someone quite special. But as it turns out, Obama Sr. married a woman in Africa, had a child, abandoned her and moved to Hawaii where he meet Barack’s mother. He married her while still being married to the woman in Africa and then abandoned her. After he went to Harvard, he returned to Africa to father 2 more children and abandon them. He returned to the states to marry yet another woman, father a child and abandon them.

Does Obama have some youthful illusions about the wonderful father who never was?

Well, okay, so I didn’t want to leave my original mission too far behind, which was to understand more about Obama. What about Bill Ayers? I really didn’t think it was a particularly big deal since it was so long ago that Ayers was a domestic terrorist, but I thought I should check it out. Here’s what I found, among others:

I’m starting to get a picture now.

Next I bumped into a woman’s comments on the web, and found myself beginning to echo some of her concerns:

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with.

About six months ago, I started thinking, "where did the money come from for Obama?" I have four daughters who went to college, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.

I started looking into Obama's life.

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time, but even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip, stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan, where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Neither I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college.

When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap, to say the least. Where did he get money for tuition? Student loans? Maybe. After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a community organizer for $12,000.00 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.

By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo, Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for law school? More student loans? After law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented "Rezar" which was Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.

In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those student loans---where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with Hamas, which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "take care of things".

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanapoulos. Obama, on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "he make a mistake". Some mistake!

Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, why haven't all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this?

Not that I care about people being rich (best to them!) but it straightened up any lingering views I had of Obama’s having come from a background of moderate means.

Let’s not overlook what is talked about at the beginning of above website – the issue of Obama’s legal eligibility for the Presidency. We don’t want to have a constitutional crisis that would shake this country to pieces.

I still have no conclusion on this. McCain was similarly investigated and was pronounced a “natural born citizen,” the constitutional requirement for eligibility for President (he was born in a American-controlled territory military base). But Obama has not produced the certificate required by the lawsuit of Philip Berg. Obama has posted Certification of Live Birth on web but it’s not the legal document needed to satisfy the lawsuit. Apparently it would be easy for Obama to get it and show it, but he hasn’t.

But back to the issue of his being legally eligible to sit in the Presidency. Here is the latest and most succinct legal description of the problem:

The story above alleges that Barrack Obama, aka Barry Sortoro was born in Hawaii, however no one has been able to publicly provide proof of such event. The Department of Health Vital Statistics Division only charges Ten Dollars to issue a "long version" Certificate of Birth. If he was actually born in Hawaii, why did he not purchase such document for a measly Ten Dollars, or if he could not afford to spend the Ten Dollars, he would simply need to sign a release so that the courts and media could purchase certified copies, instead of Photoshop printouts.

If he was born in Hawaii, which hospital; which doctor assisted the delivery; who else witnessed the delivery? Such information would be on a valid (long version) Certificate of Birth. If the Kenyan/Indonesian citizen spent time in Hawaii, good for him. But having short version Certifications of Live Birth in multiple countries will render all of them useless.

Not only is Obama/Soetoro a defendant in federal court, for his inability to present to the public, certified proof of eligibility, but the Hawaiian authorities are now a defendant in a suit for withholding already paid for records. When a state official uses a technicality to withhold vital information concerning a suspected Illegal Alien, from the people, I am ashamed of the state.

There are lawsuits in Washington & Utah concerning this suspected Illegal Alien. If he is lawfully able to serve, he should have no quarrel with releasing such documents. What does he have to hide if he is lawful. The DNC may have substandard background checks, but the masters, the registered voters, MUST receive ALL INFORMATION about their public servants, before even considering a vote in favor of giving such person a job.

Can you think of any sane reason why Obama would not pull out his original birth certificate for examination and immediately settle this bothersome, costly and "distracting" suit and this controversy? I can't.

Obama and the DNC, aided by the silence of the MSM, want to keep this Federal suit, these developments, as unknown and quiet as possible, wants the action to be over before we even know that it happened.

Obama and the DNC are hoping that if Obama wins in November, Obama's Presidency will be a faite accompli, no one will have the guts or will want to go through the monumental Constitutional Crisis and Crisis in our Legal System that would ensue if attempts were made to remove a Constitutionally disqualified President-designate Obama from his position.

The potential for riots in the streets by Obama's outraged black supporters (always a threat of implied violence useful to Democrats) is only one of the many dire scenarios one can easily conjure up. Democrats control Congress and all the chairmen of key committees that would be involved in such a Constitutional Crisis are hard-core Democrats.

The Democrats probably figure that once they win, they can try every trick in the book, they will fix this problem somehow and evade blame, play dumb, throw up a confusing barrage of conflicting information, say that the citizenship requirement is just an archaic "technicality," unfair and unimportant, point fingers and say they didn't realize there was a "Crisis," and can count on most people to not want to "make waves," "rock the boat," or to want to be part of such a potentially cataclysmic upheaval endangering the peace and tranquility and the very fabric of our democracy--so, one way or the other they’ll smooth things over and make this suit go away, to enter the Bermuda Triangle of unsolved and endlessly disputed controversies like the disappearance of Judge Crater, Chappaquiddick and the Kennedy Assassination.

So, the time to act is now, before the Election and the necessary awareness leading to calls for such action is what Obama and the DNC are trying to prevent, with their legal maneuvering and the MSM is also trying to prevent by their silence on this suit and this issue.

Anyway, I tried to skip around any obvious bias against Obama while still ferreting out the truth. It was hard because those who’ve done research have clearly developed passionate - and highly negative - feelings about all this. So many facts (verified and cross checked) were embedded within "don't elect Obama" headlines.

I did bump into this website that seemed to hold some interesting facts, but it was difficult to cross-check them all. I did check a few, though, and found it to be mostly accurate. His father was not a goat herder per say, but wealthy, etc. I encourage you to cross check things yourself, though – for example, is it possible Obama was referring to his white grandmother, not his Kenyan grandmother when he said his grandmother was always Christian? I didn’t have the time to research Obama’s original statement as I had been sleuthing for a huge amount of time and had to get back to my life.

My goal is to broadcast this out there to others who might be – as I once was – somewhat laid back about the election. You probably will have trouble believing (I sure did) that in a speech in the primaries, Obama made a crude gesture about Hillary Clinton. Watch this for yourself and come to your own conclusion. (I've seen young people make this gesture when they want to "say" something without being obvious).
